Dallas
Jenny and Ryan's new house is lovely and it was very comfortable. We played Wii, watched movies, shopped, ate out, and just enjoyed being together. They even have a fort and horse tire swing in the backyard! Natually Julianne was the center of attention, but we did get to meet "The Other Niece," Emory Jane (who is precious). The funniest thing that happened was when I put a pink outfit on Julianne that exposed her tummy b/c it has gotten too small... Dad jokingly said, "you look like white trash, Julianne!" and she cheerfully responded with, "No Dad, I'm pink trash!"

Trip to Ft Worth/Dallas
Julianne did great on our 4 hour road trip to the DFW area last weekend. We were had originally planned to go to Dallas to see Jenny and Ryan's new house, but since the Mills moved up there, we added an extra night and got to see them on Thursday night. Kendall and Julianne had a great time playing and we had a great time seeing the Mills new home in Keller. We went to a cute town called Grapevine for dinner and then stayed up until wee hours of the morning catching up. It was much needed and a great visit. Then it was on to Dallas!

Supper Club Brood
We hosted Supper Club at our house this weekend (this picture is from a Crawfish Broil with the Supper Club Group). When we all met no one had kids and now we have 9 kids between 6 families. I am sure more pregnancies will be popping up soon to add to the group. Just a fun picture I wanted to share!New Words
Julianne has a few new words that are in fact not real words, but made up words by Julianne.
She started Gymnastics classes on Mondays at "The Little Gym" by my parents house. This was Mimi and Papa's Summer Treat to her - it is a an 8 week class. Anyways, Julianne calls it - "Ignastics." It is a very cute class with lots of summersaulting, running, jumping, bubbles, swinging on bars, etc. By far my favorite part of the class is when she screams, "I am excited for Ig-nastics!"
The other new word is a number she has invented called, "Eleventeen." This number comes right between ten and twelveteen.

Finding Nemo
This month we celebrated Mimi and Papa's July birthdays (pictures above) and we had a great weekend visiting with Jenny and Ryan who had not been in town since Easter. Julianne loves nothing more than having a house full of people and singing happy birthday. On Sunday we went to the Aquarium downtown and much to Julianne's disappoinment (more like devastation) they did not have a tank with Clownfish (i.e. Nemo) which we told her they would have. Her bottom lip went out and she was soooo disapointed and heartbroken. Andrew bought her a stuffed animal Nemo, but she was still not satisfied. It made me realize that we have to be careful what we "promise" her and what we tell her because she is taking everything we say literally and expects us to deliver. So, the other day we ventured down to the Houston Zoo and found Nemo. She was so happy and it made my heart smile.
